イギリスに来たら是非PUBでビールを飲んでください。
でも、PUBも少し注意が必要です。
この写真はPUBという感じでいい感じですが
これを見てピンとくる人は大丈夫かと
何故なら、旗が意味を持っているからです。
虹の旗はLGBTQの象徴です。
LGBTQの方は優しい人が多いし、フレンドリーですが、
知らずして入店してしまい、飲み始めて
気が付くとまマッチョなお兄様方に取り囲まれてしまうことがあります。
私も２０年前、ホテルの近くのPUBへ入ってビールを飲もうとしたのですが、マッチョな方ばかりだったのでご遠慮した記憶があります。
When you come to Britain, do try a beer in a pub.
But I gave a little caution when you entered the PUB.
Look at this picture. They have that lovely pub feel,
But if this photo rings a bell, you’ll be fine.
Because the flag carries meaning.
The rainbow flag symbolises the LGBTQ community.
LGBTQ individuals are generally kind and friendly,
but if you enter without realising,
you might find yourself surrounded by rather macho gentlemen.
I remember trying to have a beer in a pub near my hotel twenty years ago, but I recognised it was full of such macho types, so I decided to go out immediately.
