千歳空港で取った1枚です。
これは時間前にしっかり集合して清掃の準備をしていると「日本人らしい」写真に思われますね。
確かに5分前集合（おそらく）して、開始時間もしっかりしてきっちり時間内に清掃を終えることができるんでしょうね。
でもそうでしょうか？
実はここに日本の問題点があるように思います。
ANAに怒られそうだけど！
これは個人的な意見ですが
約14人が5分前集合して、清掃します。
中には10分前に来る人もいるでしょう。
ということは、5分ｘ14分＝70分
これが毎機ごとに、70分分ずつ使われますね。
100機/日としたら、7000分＝120時間
120時間で時給千円としても、12万円
年間5千万円＝12万円ｘ365日
空港一つでこの値段
全国なら 何億円とう損失（＝何も生まない）ではないのでしょうか？
こんなふうに考えちゃいけないんでしょうか？

This sort of photo—where people gather well in advance to prepare for cleaning—seems very ‘typically Japanese’, doesn’t it?
It’s true that they probably gather five minutes early and manage to finish the cleaning precisely on time.
But is that really the case?
Actually, I think this is where one of Japan’s problems lies.
I might get told off by ANA for saying this, though!
This is just my personal opinion, but
around 14 people gather five minutes early to carry out the cleaning.
Some of them probably arrive ten minutes early.
That means 5 minutes × 14 people = 70 minutes.
These 70 minutes is spent on every single aircraft.
If there are 100 aircraft a day, that’s 7,000 minutes = 120 hours.
Even at an hourly rate of 1,000 yen for 120 hours, that’s 120,000 yen.
Annually, that’s 50 million yen = 120,000 yen × 365 days.
And that’s just for one airport.
Nationwide, wouldn’t this amount to a loss of hundreds of millions of yen (which generates nothing in return)?
Is it wrong to think this way?
