飛行機の中ではしっかり流がさないといけないので、吸引力を強くしないといけないんですが、O字タイプのトイレに座って吸引が強すぎると脱腸が起こってしまうからなんです。
空気を外から入れる為にU字にせざるを得なかったんですよ

In the past, all toilets on aerplanes have U-shaped.
If you flush properly on an aeroplane, it needs to flash strong suction, but if you sat on an O-shaped toilet and the suction was too strong, you could have a prolapse.
We had to make it U-shaped to let the air in from the outside.
