我々日本人にはイスラム教徒とはすごくわかりにくいですが、NYを少しでも良くしてくれると信じてやみません。
その記事で日経新聞は家賃、殺人率が6倍と書かれていました。
ワンルームの家賃が51万円とありびっくりしますが、東京の家賃が8.5万円それは安すぎるんちゃうんと突っ込みたくなります。
CHATGPTに聞くと広さは45Ｍ２だそうです。日本なら15ｍ２だそうです。
比較はむつかしいですが、もう少し条件を明確にして書いてほしいですね。
更に殺人はもっとイメージが違いますね

You might think Japan’s figure is alarmingly high, but there’s no need for concern.
Adjusting for population difference to per 100,000:
NYC: 4.9 cases
Tokyo: 0.23 cases
That’s a difference of over twenty times.
That twenty-something times figure fits the image better.
