大英博物館の次のNo.4は
バッキンガム宮殿での近衛兵の交代式です。
今回は冬にいったので
近衛兵はグレイのコートを着ていました。
夏であれば赤と黒のいかにもイギリス近衛兵という姿が見れます。
交代式は11時から始まりますが
10時過ぎにつかないとバッキンガム宮殿の庭で行われる交代式は見れません。1：30についた時にはもうすでに人だかりでした。
でも安心してください。
行進はしっかり見れます。
さらに太鼓の音が遠くから聞こえてくるので、もうじき前に来てくれると、わくわく感がたまりません。
終了後は15分くらいで歩いてトラファルガー広場までいけるので、交代式はおすすめですね。

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
As I visited in winter,
The guards wore grey coats.
In summer, you can see the quintessential British guard attire of red and black.
The ceremony begins at 11:00,
But you must arrive after 10:00 to see the changing of the guard in the palace gardens. By the time I arrived at 1:30 pm, the area was already packed with people.
But rest assured.
You can still see the marching clearly.
What’s more, the sound of the drums echoes from afar, building an irresistible sense of excitement as you know they’ll soon be right in front of you.
Afterwards, it’s only about a 15-minute walk to Trafalgar Square, so the Changing of the Guard is definitely recommended.
