昨日ハンガリーで新しい大統領が就任されました。名前はバカ・アンドラーシュ（Baka András）氏です。写真お方です。
日本語でバカというと馬鹿であまりいい意味でありませんが
各国でやはり意味がかなり違いますね
ハンガリーでは「兵士」
スペインでは「雌牛」
英語圏インターネットでは馬鹿
日本の漫画で使われている意味が、漫画が広がると共に、馬鹿が広がっていったみたいです。
使い方は注意しないとだめですね。
新しい大統領にはロシアやいろんなことで頑張ってほしいですね。
A new president took office in Hungary yesterday.
His name is Mr András Baka.
In Japanese, ‘baka’ means ‘fool’ and doesn’t have a very positive connotation, but
the meaning does vary quite a lot from country to country, doesn’t it?
In Hungary, it means ‘soldier’.
In Spain, it means ‘female cow’.
In English-speaking countries and on the internet, it means ‘fool’.
It seems that the meaning used in Japanese manga has spread along with the popularity of manga itself.
You really do have to be careful how you use it.
