戎神社の総本山の西宮恵比寿では神社境内を走り一番の人を福男として栄誉をたたえています。福男選びは3日間で行われる10日戎の本恵比寿に朝6時から始まります。
コロナの影響で3年ぶりの開催だったようですね。
At Nishinomiya Ebisu, the head shrine of the Ebisu Shrine, the first person to run through the shrine grounds is honored as a “Fukuotoko” (the luckiest man). The selection by run begins at 6:00 a.m. on the 10th Ebisu, the main Ebisu day, which takes place over three days.
This selection run was not held in the last two years due to the corona.
Ebisu Shrine is one of many sects.
