彼女って結婚してたの？と聞かれました。それも何人からも。
そうだ、日本人にとっては結婚→妊娠という順番があるんだよね。実は私もそう思っています。
でも大きく日本と海外で違うのは「結婚」に対する考え方かな！海外では結婚とは行事の一つで、何年も一緒に住んでから、子供ができたとか、もう20年たったから結婚しようかというのが多いです。さらに、政府も一緒に住んでいると夫婦として同じ扱いをしてくれます。

People are living together for a number of years, people have married when they have a child or they lived together for a long time.
Furthermore, the government treats you like a married couple if you live together.
