欧州の冬といえば、クリスマスマーケットを忘れてはいけないですね。
調べてみると、一番素晴らしいのは
ドレスデンのクリスマスマーケットだそうです。
ですので、せっかくなので行ってきました。
確かに、本当にすごかったです。
写真もすごいですよね。

When it comes to European winters, one mustn’t forget the Christmas markets.
Upon looking into it, I discovered that the most splendid one is said to be
the Dresden Christmas Market.
So, I thought I’d make the effort and go.
It was truly magnificent, I must say.
The photographs are rather splendid too, aren’t they?
I couldn’t take such splendid pictures myself, so I’ve borrowed these.
12月の初めだったので、まだ雪はほとんどなかったので、寒さもましでしたが
最高気温3度、最低気温1度でしたが、風がほとんど吹かなかったので、死ぬかも寒かったということはなかったです。
プラハもすごかったですが、やっぱり、ドレスデンのほうがすごかったです。
半径5分以内にマーケットが3，4つあるし、駅のほうにも、川の向こうに商店街でもやっていました。
It was early December, so there was hardly any snow yet, making the cold somewhat bearable.
The highest temperature was 3°C, the lowest 1°C, but with hardly any wind, it wasn’t unbearably cold.
Prague was also impressive, but Dresden was simply more spectacular.
Within a five-minute radius, there were three or four markets, and even near the station, across the river, there was a shopping street market too.
